Kenneth W. Rohrbacher, 46, of 2410 S. CR 43, Republic, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, at his home after an illness of several months. He was born Dec. 1, 1953, in Bellevue, to Calvin and Idona (Fry) Rohrbacher. On June 6, 1986, he married Robin M. Prebeg, and she survives.
Other survivors include: his mother, Idona Rohrbacher of Green Springs; two brothers, Calvin Rohrbacher II and Mark Rohrbacher, both of Republic, two sisters, Mrs. Brenda Grieve of Tiffin and Mrs. Kathleen Kesler of Republic.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Calvin; grandparents, Willard and Dorothy Fry; Willy and Iris Rohrbacher, and a niece, Gwenolynn Marie Kesler.
Mr. Rohrbacher was a self-employed gunsmith for 15 yrs. He had received his Associate’s Degree in electrical engineering at the University of Toledo. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the National Rifle Association; the Seneca County Pheasants Forever; the M.V.G.C.A.; and the O.G.C.A. Mr. Rohrbacher and his wife enjoyed antique shows, flea markets, and auctions.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Lindsay-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville with Dwayne Dunfee officiating. Burial will be at the Farewell Retreat Cemetery, Republic.
Visitation hours are from 7-9 p.m., Saturday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fremont Memorial Hospice.
